At Entech, precision doesn’t end at the fabrication stage - bringing our creations to life on-site is just as critical. This month, we’re highlighting our installation capabilities, where attention to detail, pre-planning, and hands-on expertise ensure our projects are installed efficiently, safely, and exactly to spec. From in-house simulations to real-time field coordination, our install team ensures a seamless transition from shop floor to final destination. We’re also proud to spotlight Install Lead Ryan Soteropoulos, whose leadership and technical skill help bring some of our most complex projects across the finish line.

What We Do Best Installation is a critical final chapter in every Entech project, where engineering, fabrication, and logistics converge. Our goal? Seamless, safe, and efficient installs - no surprises, no delays. Whether we’re fitting a kinetic sculpture into a public plaza or assembling a 30-foot-tall themed structure in a museum atrium, we ensure our installations exceed expectations.

Here’s how we do it:

  • Pre-Install Simulation: Whenever possible, we assemble components in our facility to simulate the real-world install. This approach allows us to refine assembly procedures, identify potential clashes, and minimize issues once on-site.

  • Streamlined Procedures: With detailed planning and prep work done up front, our install team often reduces anticipated installation timeframes—helping clients stay on schedule and avoid unexpected costs.

  • O&M Support: Each install is paired with customized, digital O&M manuals—accessible via QR code—tailored to the project and updated in real-time to reflect the final installation.

  • Collaborative Coordination: Our install team works hand-in-hand with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure installations are not only technically accurate, but respectful of active job sites and end-user needs.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Cross-Disciplinary Awareness: Because Entech designs and fabricates every element in-house, our installation team is deeply familiar with the materials, mechanics, and systems behind each project. That makes for faster problem-solving and cleaner installs.

  • On-the-Ground Agility: We adapt to changing site conditions and client requests without sacrificing quality or safety.

  • High-Profile & High-Stakes Experience: Our team has installed massive scenic structures, delicate science exhibits, and one-of-a-kind interactives in venues ranging from busy theme parks to tightly controlled museum environments.

From pre-planning to final walkthroughs, installation is where everything comes together - and our team ensures the final product is as remarkable in real life as it was in concept.

Employee Spotlight: Ryan Soteropoulos, Installation Lead

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Ryan Soteropoulos, our Install Lead whose versatility and leadership have made him an invaluable part of the Entech team. Starting out as a shop hand, Ryan quickly stood out for his initiative, drive, and hands-on skillset. Within just a few months, he was brought onto installation crews, taking on increasing levels of trust and responsibility.

“I was looking for a better quality of life and something more interesting than your everyday job,” Ryan shares. Since joining Entech, he’s found exactly that - taking part in building imaginative, large-scale projects and seeing them through to final installation.

Ryan’s dual role in both fabrication and install gives him a unique perspective. “What I enjoy most is watching the process go from a single piece of metal or fiberglass to an entire structure,” he says. That satisfaction of seeing a concept take shape - from raw materials on the shop floor to a fully assembled feature in the field - is what continues to fuel his passion for the job.

Installation at Entech is no ordinary task. Each project presents new site conditions, structural challenges, and coordination needs, which is why leadership in the field is key. For Ryan, a successful install comes down to clarity and communication: “It’s about understanding the project and the task at hand - and being able to delegate and follow up effectively.”

When he’s not guiding complex builds, Ryan enjoys spending his time fishing or working on cars - hobbies that reflect the same attention to detail and hands-on mindset that he brings to every Entech project.

Ryan’s leadership is a shining example of how hands-on experience, commitment, and growth-minded teamwork drive Entech’s installation success. Stay tuned for next month’s Entech: In the Spotlight, where we’ll explore the intricate world of Controls Engineering and meet the expert behind the code: Todd “Mac” McDonald.
