Employee Spotlight: Eric Roehl, Senior Project Manager

Meet Eric: For the past nearly 6 years, Eric Roehl has been an invaluable part of the Entech team, bringing decades of experience and a passion for problem-solving to his role as Senior Project Manager.
Eric’s journey began with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. During his college years, he interned at Newport News Shipbuilding, gaining hands-on experience working on Los Angeles Class Attack Submarines and Nuclear Aircraft Carriers.
After graduation, Eric joined the American Bureau of Shipping in New Orleans, where he reviewed structural, mechanical, and safety systems for various vessels. His next step took him to Structural Composites, where he spent 16 years managing projects for theme parks, defense contractors, and the U.S. Navy. These experiences honed Eric’s skills in managing intricate projects—a perfect fit for Entech’s multidisciplinary work.
Eric’s Role at Entech: “As a Project Manager, I’m involved in most aspects of a project—from design through fabrication, and even installation in some cases,” Eric shares. “I enjoy the variety of projects we take on, from simple static pieces to complex moving systems.”

Eric’s approach to project management is rooted in flexibility and collaboration. “Nothing goes 100% as planned,” he says. “You must be ready to pivot on a dime to keep the project moving forward.”
He also emphasizes the importance of collaboration: “Some of the best ideas come from unexpected places, whether it’s the shop floor, engineers, or other managers. It’s all about hashing out details to find the right solution.”
Project management is the engine that drives Entech’s success, and leaders like Eric Roehl make it possible.
